Hi Everyone,
This year marks my 4th year participating in the Olivia Newton-John Wellness Walk — but this year with a Twist of Fate (1983):
In 2023, I’ll be Living In Harmony (1972) and walking all over Spain from mid September through early October.
On the morning of Sunday, 8 October I’ll be at 39,000 feet — on the way home to Australia while the many wellness walkers make their way around Melbourne’s Alexandra Gardens for this year’s ONJ Cancer Centre fundraiser, Making A Good Thing Better (1977).
In 2019, 2021 and 2022, my amazing supporters Let It Shine (1975), managing to raise almost $7,000 across 3 years: $1,700 in 2019; $2,300 in 2021 and $2,850 in 2022 — and that followed very late emails from me, like 1 week before the day in 2021 and only 24 hours before the event in 2022!
So, you might be wondering if I’m Feeling Best (1974) given you’re receiving this so early? It just seems like The Right Moment (1985) to try a new approach.
And in 2023 I’ve set my target at $5,000. How Totally Hot (1978) is that? Is that even possible I hear you ask? Don’t worry, Have You Never Been Mellow (1975):
I’m getting Physical (1981) and taking my Olivia T-Shirts and caps with me to Spain, which I’ll wear at least once in every location I visit, posting a selfie on Instagram via @therealgeoffjaeger. For the first 10 reposts, I’ll donate $50 to my own campaign — see how below*
If you donate more than $500 you’ll receive a full-size print from my 2021 exhibition The Bridge Between with the delightful Robyn Ross who paints those Angel Eyes (1974). For trivia buffs, 2021 was the year I met Olivia — turns out orange was her favourite colour, like the orange in my photographs.
If you donate more than $1,000 you’ll receive a full-size, framed print from my 2021 exhibition.** And not only that, I’ll be Hopelessly Devoted To You (1978) – how could I not be?
I’ll be donating the remaining funds to make up my target, so please Help Me Make It Through The Night (1971) … hopefully my photos and steps will make that a redundant amount and together we’ll contribute even more to wellness.
With so many people we know having experiences with cancer, wellness has to be the way. So, If You Love Me Let Me Know (1974), just Please Don’t Keep Me Waiting (1978).
See you from Spain!
Love & Light,
Geoff
